Role: Camera/Audio Operator, Director, Editor, Colorist, Title Designer, Sound Designer

From the initial groundbreaking to the installation of the 18” column still, I was regularly dispatched for a year to Danville, Kentucky to document, edit, and post video updates on the construction progress of an independent bourbon and rye whiskey distillery — Luca Mariano Distillery. After the still was installed, the distillery was bought by a larger corporation, marking the end of my tenure.

During my time documenting the construction, I learned how to comply with OSHA regulations, stay alert on an active construction site, and convince professionals in the construction industry to appear on camera — something they aren’t too fond of — and I even learned how to make them smile.
