Ford Sync 3 & Android

Educational Video

Role: Writer, Director, Video Editor, Title Designer, Colorist, Sound Designer

The challenge: Make an instructional video for Serra Ford feel less like homework and more like a story worth watching—specifically, a punchy YouTube spot that walked customers through the process of syncing their Android phones with their new Ford vehicles and showcased some main features.

The solution: I built the narrative around a simple, human hook—a mom texting her son about evening plans—and closed the loop with a hands-free call back to her, showcasing the capability of the tech and giving the demo a heartbeat.

I directed the shoot, capturing multiple camera angles for coverage options in editing, and in post designed a diegetic music switch when the talent changes it hands-free in the car, reinforcing the product demo and keeping the audience engaged. This wasn’t just an explainer; it was branded storytelling that turned a dealership into a helping hand.

The result: Over 14K YouTube views and a stronger perception of Serra Ford as more than a showroom—it’s a trusted guide in the automotive space offering the community free value.
